Setting up a Web site in support of a Grant Project
Grants or Contracts (including research support and externally funded grants) are associated with University departments. A grant project managed by the Cal Poly Corporation Sponsored Programs office is not the same as Sponsored Project.
Required
If a Grant Web site is designated as an "official Web page" as defined in the Information Technology Resources Responsible Use Policy then it must adhere to specific policy, minimum Web page element, Web Accessibility, and other style requirements.
Web Site Hosting Resources
Grant Web sites can be published onto the following resources:
- Department Account on Central UNIX
- Department (owned) Web server
- Educational Web Services (Cal Poly Corporation)
- Outsource and host external to the campus
Note: Web sites which represent Cal Poly academic programs must be addressed within the CALPOLY.EDU Web domain. This is Cal Poly's current practice and a specific written policy for this is being drafted.
