Setting Up a Web Site in support of a Cal Poly Committee
These sites are used in support of academic and administrative functions of the University. These sites are recognized as "official Web sites" of the university. As such, these sites must adhere to specific policy, Web address, minimum page element, and other style requirements.
Web Site Hosting Resources
Committee Web sites can be published onto the following resources:
- Department Account on Central Unix
- Department (owned) Web server
- Educational Web Services (Cal Poly Corporation)
- Outsource and host external to the campus
Disk quotas will influence the amount of information you choose to provide and where you will locate your Web pages.
